Hākarimata Boutique

When the cute historic Cobbler shop at Durham Precinct was restored and ready for lease, local Suzanne jumped at the chance to open the gorgeous new Hākarimata Boutique.  Her dream was to create a stylish space to supply and promote the work of all the wonderful local talent in the Ngāruawāhia community and beyond, as well as a place that people can connect.

Suzanne's hope is to create a space that people can come and enjoy and celebrate the uniqueness that Ngāruawāhia has to offer.  She has achieved this and more at the Hākarimata Boutique. You feel the warmth, beauty and friendliness as soon as you walk through the door.  This is a little boutique that is filled with many treasures, so be sure to allow plenty of time to soak it all up and hear the stories behind the creations.  If you need a quick gift then you are bound to find something perfect here, with a range of prices, and most importantly free parking right outside so you can easily pop in.
