River Riders have their Ngāruawāhia pick up and drop off base here too. Cycle the Mighty Waikato Te Awa on an e-bike or another fantastic bike and experience culture, history, heritage, food, coffee and more while cycling alongside NZ's longest river from Ngāruawāhia in the North to Lake Karapiro in the South. Wander a little further up Durham Precinct and you will find one of our little restored cottages known as The Old Cobblers which is now home to the gorgeous Hākarimata Boutique. This is such a special little shop showcasing the creative talent of our local community where you will be sure to want to stop for a while.
